80 Series Hurricane-Resistant Aluminum Windows
The Dimax 80 Series Hurricane-Resistant Window system is engineered for extreme weather protection in coastal and hurricane-prone regions, delivering superior impact resistance, airtight sealing, and structural stability beyond standard residential windows. Built with 6063-T5 aluminum profiles at a 2.0 mm wall thickness and a load-bearing capacity of up to 180 kg, the system supports large blade sizes from 500–1600 mm in width and 800–2500 mm in height, while maintaining long-term durability. Certified to NOA and Miami-Dade impact resistance standards, the 80 Series is equipped with laminated safety glass and advanced sealing systems that achieve zero air infiltration and exfiltration at 75 Pa (ASTM E283-19), no water penetration under ±5390 Pa pressure (TAS 202-94), and proven missile impact resistance up to Large Missile 50 ft/s (TAS 201-94). With thermal performance rated at Uw 1.2 W/m²·K and sound insulation up to Rw 40 dB, the system balances safety, comfort, and energy efficiency. Finished with premium powder coatings from Interpon or Dulux and fitted with hardware from KIN LONG, BONWAY, or ROTO, the 80 Series hurricane window is designed for fixed, fixed-fixed, or fully customized configurations, making it ideal for residential, coastal, and high-risk wind zone applications where certified protection is essential.
Customize Your High-Impact Hurricane Window Solution
Dimax 80 Series hurricane-resistant windows are engineered for high-risk wind zones and coastal environments where certified impact protection and pressure resistance are critical. Designed with reinforced 6063-T5 aluminum profiles and laminated safety glass, the 80 Series provides a reliable barrier against windborne debris, driving rain, and extreme pressure changes, while maintaining clean architectural lines for modern residential and light commercial projects.
Built as a performance-driven window system rather than a standard residential product, the 80 Series supports flexible sizing and configuration to suit different façade designs and opening requirements. Advanced sealing technology and precision hardware work together to deliver exceptional air-tightness, water resistance, and structural stability, helping protect interiors even when glass is compromised during severe weather events.
With extensive testing to international hurricane and impact standards, the 80 Series window system reflects Dimax’s long-term focus on safety-oriented engineering and project-specific customization. Our team works closely with builders, architects, and developers to tailor frame details, glass options, surface finishes, and installation methods, ensuring each hurricane window solution meets project performance expectations without compromising design intent.
